Everyone is invited to have their say via the online survey. 

Events are taking place during the summer giving you a chance to get involved with the Revitalising Buxton project. Whether you live locally or you’re visiting, everybody is welcome to come along to take part and learn more about the project:

  • Saturday 13th July, 10am-1pm, Turner’s Memorial, The Crescent, Buxton SK17 6AL.

  • Tuesday 13th August, 10am-1pm, Spring Gardens (outside Sacro Lounge), Buxton.

  • Wednesday 11th September, 1pm-4pm, drop-in consultation event outside Adult Education Centre, Fairfield – everyone welcome.

Fairfield Drop-in engagement session

  • Outside Fairfield Adult Education Centre, Wednesday 11th September, 1 - 4pm.

  • We want to get feedback from the Residents of Fairfield. We will be hosting a drop-in style engagement event outside Fairfield Adult Education Centre on Wed 11th September, 1-4pm, St Nicholas Hall, Victoria Park Rd, Buxton SK17 7PE

  • We will have information boards and a gazebo 

Harpur Hill workshop

  • Harpur Hill Village Hall

  • We are hosting a workshop style engagement event at Harpur Hill Village Hall, Wednesday 11th September, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, Harris Rd, Buxton SK17 9JS

  • We invite residents of Harpur Hill to sign up and come along to take part in a range of activities and share feedback.

Be part of Buxton’s story

Do you have a fond memory that you would like to share about Buxton? Is there something that makes you proud to be a Buxton resident? 

We’re  asking all those with a connection to Buxton to share their memories of the shopping area around Spring Gardens and The Springs. Describe in a few words a special time, share a photo of favourite times or get creative and send us a poem or a piece of art inspired by your thoughts about this place. 

We’re hoping to put together a creative display in the town and on our website as part of our community engagement programme for the Revitalising Buxton project.
